Navigator is a one-day workshop that trains health professionals, service providers and community agency staff to better support caregivers by showing them how to:
- Identify caregivers early in their journey
- Support caregivers to adopt self-care practices
- Facilitate caregivers’ access to programs/resources and referrals
The Navigator program is based in the philosophy that understanding and small actions, incorporated into professional practice can have a profound impact on the trajectory of the caregiver journey. Navigator is facilitated by a health care professional who has extensive experience with caregivers.
