Caregivers Alberta was founded by concerned citizens dedicated to recognizing the essential work of caregivers. Our board of directors provides visionary leadership in the mission to support and empower caregivers and acknowledge their crucial contributions to society.

Join the Board

We are looking for driven volunteers passionate about governing long-term and significant impact for Caregivers Alberta.

The following skills and attributes are considered a priority:

    • Fundraising
    • Corporate connections
    • Ethnic and geographic diversity
    • Social services
    • Not-for-profit financial controls

*Prior Health Charity service considered an asset.

Annually, our Board Members contribute their time to the following:

    • Attending the AGM
    • Attending 4-6 in-person or teleconference meetings
    • Attending Caregiver Alberta events
    • Participation on one board committee

Applications are open until April 20, 2021, and those chosen will present as a slate for the May 18, 2021 AGM. Candidates will be expected to serve a two (2) year term and can serve for up to three terms.
